Terry has more than 37 years of experience in the life sciences industry. He has served as CEO of two Cambridge-based companies: Astrea Bioseparations formerly part of Gamma Biosciences before merging with Biotage and Horizon Discovery Plc, a publicly listed UK AIM company acquired by PerkinElmer. His earlier career includes senior commercial leadership roles such as VP of Global Sales at Pacific Biosciences, and key positions at Genetix Plc (acquired by Danaher) and Biacore (acquired by GE). Terry began his career with a 17-year tenure at Applied Biosystems, where he rose to the position of VP, Europe. He holds a degree in Physiology and Biochemistry from the University of Reading.
